Save when you buy wedding flowers (and more)!

October 12th by admin

The last few weeks haven’t been happy ones financially for most people.  Having just returned from vacation, where I was a long way from the media, I was shocked to see what has been happening in financial markets right around the world.  My thoughts are with everyone struggling to pay their mortgage, facing job uncertainty or having a hard time making ends meet.

What’s this got to do with fall wedding flowers you ask?  Well, for a lot of people their wedding will be one of the more expensive purchases in their life.  The average cost of a wedding is around $30,000.  As I’ve mentioned before, you can spend a significant amount when you buy wedding flowers.

I know there will be some of you wondering how on earth you’re going to be able to afford the wedding you dreamed of in the current economic climate.  Don’t throw all your plans out the window just yet.  There are many ways to save on wedding costs without sacrificing your dreams.

For instance, have you noticed that just because something has “wedding” in its name it’s more expensive than a comparable “every day” product?  This is just one trick that some retailers use on unsuspecting brides.  But, you say, if it says “wedding” surely it must be better?  Not so.  Often, the exact same product will have an inflated price simply because it’s called a “wedding” some thing or other.

Erica Yoon is a bride who’s been there and done that.  In fact, she saved over $10,000 on her own wedding.  Erica has compiled her incredible money saving tips in an ebook, Amazing Wedding Planning.  The tip above is just one of many she will teach you.  She covers every aspect of wedding planning from dresses, shoes, reception venue, food and drinks, transport, invitations, favors - you name it, it’s there.

And yes, she has great ways to save heaps when you buy wedding flowers.

Best of all, the savings come at no sacrifice to the quality of your wedding.  You don’t need to cut corners to save money - you just need to know the secrets.

I really think this is a guide every bride should invest in.  Even if times weren’t so tough, every penny saved is a penny towards your future.  But the way the world is at the moment, I don’t think you can afford to be without it.
